i recommend handgun for maximal penetration/damageĮdit: i see this post is getting downvoted, which i don't understand. approximately 5 minutes after the (last) female scout, the male diamond will present itself to you at a short distance (<50 meters) keep using the caller once every minute
if the female scout approaches within 10-15 meters of your position, apply the caller, this will scare the female away, while simultaneously luring the male diamond closer to you. the female scouts act as bait for you to shoot, but don't do this, as this will scare away the diamond male and everything is lost. the diamond animal will usually send one (or multiple) female scouts to your position don't move one inch/centimeter or all is lost! be prepared to sit completely still in the bush for 15-20 min apply both scent eliminator and lure scent > audibility bar should be smallest (3 little dots) (never wear a backpack while hunting for diamonds) > visibility bar should be smallest possible (small stripe)
